This basically demonstrates how you can make a good looking, glitch free shooter with minimal effort. Rather than giving a step-by-step process, all the instruction is given in the form of notes in the downloaded version that explain how the scripts work, so you can learn how to re-create them yourself from scratch (ucwutididthar) instead of just duplicating them. EDIT July 16, 2016: Just logged back into my Scratch account and I noticed that this project has been getting a lot of attention. Please bear in mind that I made this tutorial before Cloning blocks existed. This still works fine of course, but it's worth noting that you may wish to have 1 single bullet and clone it, instead of using multiple sprites for the bullets.
