NOTE: This twist isn't completely original. The basic idea is used in several other games, such as Golf Solitaire (same idea, but initial setup different and king does not wrap to ace on some versions). Also, this idea has also been used in this form by BoltBait, and this was inspired by his project, so credit to him. Credit to cpumaster930 as he was the first to create a deck of cards with Scratch Cats on them and my idea and face cards are based off his. Credit to MobilityWare, the creators of the Solitaire app for iOS and Android for the idea of the Vegas Scoring mode. Curated 17/08/2012 by Puppies4ever! Thanks! Welcome to Pyramid Solitaire - the classic card game with a twist! Features: - Six and seven level games - Normal and Vegas Scoring - Instruction manual - Statistics saved as you play - Scratch-themed playing cards: One suit To start a new game, click on the small deck at the bottom-right. The rules of Pyramid Solitaire are simple. After the deal, you play from the card in the top-right. Click cards in the pyramid to collect them on top of the discard. You can only choose cards that are completely uncovered and are one rank higher or lower than the top card in the discard pile (the order is A, 2, 3, ..., 9, 10, J, Q, K). Aces wrap to kings and can be played on top of each other. When there are no moves, click the deck in the top-left. To win you must take the top card before you run out of cards in the deck and run out of moves in play. For more detailed instructions, see the help in-game. Click the spanner to access settings, where you can view your statistics, view the help, and change the number of levels and the scoring system. To avoid glitches, do not carry out any of the following: Start a new game when the game is dealing. Quit the statistics when being asked if you want to clear them. Change the scoring method while in the middle of a game (click the green flag first). I'm aware it is probably possible to do this with one card sprite, but it is easier to use one for every card. My record on the six-level game with normal scoring is just over 3000 points (15 left in the deck, I think my longest chain was at least 7 cards long). I have reached an accumulated total of 129 in Vegas Scoring (using only six-level games). May not have all been done in one session (I think I saved my score and then edited the variable to match next time I played). I haven't tried using 7-level games as well but it would probably make it harder to make profits on the score.
