I am going for the how to train your dragon book approach to dragons: A hunting-dragon is your small dragon, used for catching fish and hunting, and general jobs So maybe a common-or-garden/basic brown (the most common, and unimpressive dragons) Monstrous nightmare (quite the opposite, say small if it is your hunting dragon) Deadly Nadder (looks nothing like the one in the films) Gronckle (same) A riding dragon is a big dragon for riding! I don't mind if you use a dragon from the books or films, and I also don't mind what your dragon looks like. Get creative!
