He lives in a vacation home in California. He travels to wonderful, warm places around the world. He shares his travels with his pet goldfish Gubbles, who has miraculously stayed alive since West was seven (human years, of course). The goldfish lives in West (maybe that's why its stayed alive this long?) (Scratch is having problems saving my bio?) West is a dewdrop shepherd. They are a rare type of dog whose tail, ears, organs, and sometimes paws are made of water. When in water (or any other liquid) they sort-of "become" the liquid as well. They have to be REALLY careful not to freeze or evaporate. That's why there's not much of them left....
