There’s a guy at our school, and I barely noticed him until he was on my Science Olympiad team... Then (according to his friend) he got really freaked out because apparently I kept following him (whoops)... but I didn’t figure that out until later. ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~- It was after a three day weekend of thinking that I decided to send him a note. I spent the whole weekend drafting and drafting, then finally, during math class, I rolled up the note and put it in his locker... I felt like I was gonna throw up then :( Well, long story short, it fell out of his locker and I later noticed it and eventually put it back in. Then he told me to shut up during PE. So then my heart broke. Later, while I was getting my coat out of my locker, I heard someone shout, “[insert name here]!” And of course, it was him. I knew I was dead. While I stood up and buried my embarrassed but smiling face in my sweater, he gave me a quick reply of something like, “um... I’m not really ready for this kind of stuff yet. Sorry.” And then he turned around and ran off. But he was smiling while he said it, so I was a little hopeful. Over the next few days, some people knew, and my other friend asked him if he liked me, which was “a sad no.” He’s been kind of quiet to me ever since, but he doesn’t hate me, so I guess he’s probably just going to keep hanging out with his friends. Which are mostly girls. So, I’m a little heartbroken, but whatever. I’m starting to sound like a typical middle school girl. Wait, I am a typical... whatever. Well, life lesson, don't put notes in the lockers of people you like, yo. --- Ok, update.
