Description

Zmator is a fluid animation program that lets you create computer animations. Unlike other scratch animators, which do frame by frame and look choppy, Zmator does animations fluidly and dynamically. Zmator was intended to be easy to use and to generate simple animations that anyone can make. USERS MANUAL: To make your first project, start by choosing either a red square or a blue circle from the object toolbar. To place your selected object, click somewhere on the canvas (the blank rectangle). The canvas is where the animation is created and played back. You can have up to 5 of each shape in one animation. To resize the object, select the resizing tool (an orange square with arrows portruding from it) from the object toolbar. Next, select the object you want to resize on the canvas, then click and drag the purple square to resize. Now to create the animation. To record the object's current position, click the red "record" button in the animation toolbar (the animation toolbar is below the canvas). Next, to move the object, choose the object movement tool from the object toolbar (a black arrow) and simply drag the object to another spot on the canvas. Again, record the object's current position. Now add a final position to the object somewhere on the canvas, record it, and then play the overall animation. To play the animation, click the green triangle in the animation toolbar to view the animation. Coming soon to Zmator: - Draw your own objects - Import and export animations to text for sharing in the comments - Lots more! If you have a suggestion, say it in the comments!
