Runningstar is from ShadowClan, and Racoonspirit is from WindClan. Racoonkit was always very adventurous and good at getting into trouble, some cats thought she was half-clan because of this. Their mistake was, that she was full WindClan. Runningkit was always very clever and loyal, not to mention strong. Racoonpaw became an apprentice while Runningpaw was about to get his warrior's name. Racoonpaw's mentor was the leader, and Runningpaw's mentor was his deputy. Moons later, Runningpaw became Runningleap, while Racoonpaw was still training. They first met each other while at a gathering, and they talked for a bit. Racoonpaw thought that they could be friends, but also felt a strong connection with the young tom. Runningleap didn't think much about it at first, but he later realized he thought about her a lot. Racoonspirit had no interest as a warrior to get a mate from her Clan, she was always thinking of Runningleap. Runningleap, at that time, had his own apprentice, and Racoonspirit had her own apprentice. She may have been disloyal at times, but she had very good reasons. Runningleap and Racoonspirit met again at another gathering. They began to fall for each other. Runningleap joined WindClan because of the vileness of ShadowClan. Racoonspirit's and his apprentice were warriors by then, and Runningleap later became the deputy of WindClan. Racoonspirit enjoyed getting to spend more time with the tom. Later on, they had become mates and they felt as if their lives where complete. Until, Racoonspirit found out that she was expecting kits. Runningleap became Runningstar, and Racoonspirit had their son, Oatkit. The family was very happy, alas, all happiness doesn't last forever. Oatkit got kidnapped, and Racoonspirit died trying to save him. Runningstar never found another she-cat like his former mate, and refused to take on another after his beloved died.
