Press space to see my pictures closer up. ~NAME: Scidirus (she-DI-rus) ~NAME ORIGIN: "scintilla", the Latin word for spark, and "canis dirus", the species name of the Dire Wolf (the design was based off the Raijū, a mythological creature of Japanese origin) ~SPECIES: Blackout Pokemon ~TYPING: (Shadowed form) Dark (Charged form) Dark-Electric ~HEIGHT: 3' 10" (Paws to head) ~WEIGHT: (Shadowed form) 150 lbs. (Charged form) 119 lbs. ~POKEDEX NO.: 816 or anything above that ~DEX' ENTRIES: (Shadowed) -It is a very calm-mannered Pokemon that stays levelheaded in the face of danger. That being said, it is not often kept as a pet, because it goes berserk whenever a storm breaks out. -Due to the huge amount of energy stored within its body, some of its limbs began to rift and separate. This Pokemon needs to keep a constant calm attitude lest all that power becomes released and it loses control. (Charged) -Any common sense or judgement it had prior to undergoing this transformation is lost as it violently attacks anything it comes across. Being able to run faster than the human eye can see, its target's only hope is if all of its energy is depleted. -Being able to turn its entire body into pure energy, Scidirus' Charged Form can travel through power lines and cause massive power outages. A large pack of them once caused an entire country to be left in the dark. ~Ability: Thunder Drive (If the user is hit by an Electric-type move, its speed sharply increases, and it transforms into its Charged form. Cannot be traced, swapped, etc.) ~Item: Shadow Rune (An item to be held by Scidirus. It raises Special Attack and Special Defense, but it cannot change forms. ~Signature Move: Blackout (A move who's type and attack type is determined by the user's form.) {Shadowed: Dark, Special} {Charged: Electric, Physical} (Cannot be sketched)
NOTICE ABOUT CHARGED FORM: I pondered about how Scidirus' form changes, and I thought of how its form would truly work. Basically, Scidirus' form changes when it gets hit by an electric attack. However, I thought that it would be difficult to change this form if it reset every battle, so here's a more detailed description of form change conditions. ~It starts out in its Shadowed form when you encounter it in the wild. ~When it changes form, it will remain in its Charged form after battle, and will not go back to its Shadowed form unless the following conditions are met: -Is given a Shadow Rune to be held -Faints in battle -Is caught -Or gets healed at a Pokemon Center ~It will also enter battle in its Charged form if you give it a Thunder Stone to hold. So yeah, it's pretty complicated, but I don't think it's much worse than Shaymin's transformation conditions. @SoulofDoom for the contest I don't feel like hunting down the maker of this song AGAIN, so check my "Everything Black" Meme if you want to know who made it. Augh, this is making up a lot of things... I highly doubt that this will make it very far in the contest simply because of how complicated it all is... but either way, I had fun making it. (Since I haven't colored it yet, I'd like to clarify the colors. The fur color is dark grey, the eye of the Shadowed Form is orange, the eye of the Charged Form is pure white. The mane of the Shadowed Form is black, while the mane of the Charged Form is neon yellow. Maybe once I color it, I'll add shiny info.)
