You have to know the story of a very infamous charecter named Seelkadoom, but anyway, the story: Robotnik made an infamous charecter called Seelkadoom, who was a combonation of Sonic and Shadow, (my story:) but while trying to figure out what Seelkadoom would be like, he started tinkering with some parts, and tried to make a version of Seelkadoom that was robotic. He failed and tossed it in the trash. But it had a feature that made it grab for something if it was injured. And so it thought it had lost its head. It went searching for a new one, and strangly enough, found one. It ran away from Robotnik. Later, the robot(it's name being Smalk, it had named itself) joined Sonic, and when Shadow and Smalk met, they became friends. Sonic thinks its because Shadow was made by robotnik as well(true but long story) .On an adventure with Shadow and Sonic, they stole robotnik's de-robotizer. Smalk used it on himself but only his head touched the beam before an army of combots(another true but long story) charged the place. That's why from his neck down, he's a robot. Anyway after that incident, Shadow decided that Smalk needed to be able to fight with them, and told Smalk that he could be trusted with power. Shadow told Smalk what he had in mind, and Smalk got to work. 2 Weeks later, Smalk had found a space in his body where there were no cables or anything. He made it a compartment. When Smalk told Shadow he was ready, Shadow took one of his chaos emeralds out of himself, and gave it to Smalk. Smalk put the chaos emerald inside the compartment, and suddenly, he was a half robotic, half life, part energy being. And the first one all of Mobius had ever seen.
