Use turbo mode to go faster. Basically, the method drops a bunch of dots in a square and checks how many are above a line, and takes the ratio of the total number of dots to the number above the line, approximating 2, then using that to compute 1/2. It actually does a good job!
This, in case you're curious, is a joke. This approximation is better than the pi one though.
