I spent a good hour researching whether to make the hand use match grip or traditional grip. I don't play drums, but I play bass in a jazz band, so I see that the drummer next to me always uses match, but I've seen performances by Jo Jones and Buddy Rich, and they both use traditional, so I was conflicted. I ended up making the drum get hit by the right hand, so you will never know what grip Kacey uses. Ha! I think I will go with traditional because it looks cooler. Anyway here's a little bit of backstory (cuz you guys probably care A LOT about this! ;D). Kacey's older brother, Damion, died. Before he died, he gave Kacey a necklace with four beads (one for each member of the family). Don't worry! In the story, there are no actual ghosts! I just thought it would be cool for Kace to imagine his brother get older and, in a way, be a ghost, if that makes sense (It's a metaphor I guess). So, I honestly thought this was going to turn out super awful. The sketch and blocking colors of the last frame were pretty freaky, but just when all hope seemed lost, I added some cool highlights, and it actually made it turn out pretty epic. Damion's right arm still looks kinda wonky though. Oof. Sorry for that ramble. It's getting kind of late, and my thoughts just spilled.
