Description

a recording for remembrance day <3 sorry for poor quality, scratch makes it kinda fuzzy D: Our choir sang In Flanders Fields for our school's ceremony, and I really liked the arrangement. so, I recorded it in garageband, lol I did the tenor, alto, and soprano parts... I'm an alto 1/soprano 2 so some of the parts were a bit of a stretch x'D i tried some of the parts aren't aligned perfectly, either :0 it's because of the delay on my headphones that I had to listen to the playback through. I didn't really want to go and do tons of editing so i left it a bit off the arrangement is by Eleanor Daley and the poem is by John McCrae c: In Flanders Fields by John McCrae In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.
