You just burn up before you get into the atmosphere
@ABSOLutelyScratching Used Sonic Mania and Mod.Gen Sprites Tutorial on how to get this: Step 1: On the title screen, input Up, Up, Down, Down, Up, Up, Up, Up, you now have Debug Mode! Step 2: Select Mania Mode and go to no save. Step 3: Press Specific Button + Start at the same time. (Specific Button = Y, Square and, X for Switch, PS4, and XB1 respectively.) Step 4: If you did the last step correctly, you should have level select! Step 5: Go to Sound Test. (Though it doesn't have any sounds, just music.) Step 6: Play these tracks in this order: 02, 00, 01, 07, 00, 08, 01, 05, this unlocks Flight as Super Sonic! Step 7: Now you just go to any level and press specific button again, you now have entered Debug Mode. Step 8: Now find the "S" Monitor and spawn it, hit it and double jump, and viola! FLYING SUPER SONIC!!!
