Description

So...@LilMoonKitty is back... However happy I am to see her again, I just know people will ask if Moon will get the Diamond Key back. But...the way things are now, she can't ever have it again... Before you cry out "unfair", point accusing fingers at me, and criticize and belittle me for my decision until it feels like my heart could break, please hear me out. I had no reason to believe @LilMoonKitty would EVER come back. One day she told us she would leave, and left without saying anything else. That was 5 months ago. She never told me what to do with the Diamond, or if she would ever come back to Scratch. PotHS as a story can't progress if one of its Keys remains missing forever. That's right, PotHS is not only a roleplay, but its own unique story. And like most stories, it follows the rules that its world has set for it. Giving Moon back the Diamond would all but completely destroy the rules of the world that I have put into place. Two months ago, I found a way around the missing Key situation, while not downplaying Moon's significance too much, or killing her off entirely. The way the story has progressed, it couldn't be possible for her to reclaim the Key. I also took into account the vote I had held earlier in which most voters agreed that the Key should go to someone else...since it seemed like @LilMoonKitty would never be coming back. I have already all but decided on who will be the new holder of the Diamond Key. It wouldn't be fair to suddenly go back on my decision. I know I could never compensate @LilMoonKitty enough for everything I've done. However, I will help make amends by giving her a fair chance at any of the remaining Keys. If you took the time to read all of this, thank you. And I'm sorry.
