Spread the word! #StopDeclawing Other problems with Declawing: @Hawkstripe: And plus if your cat is left outside and meets a hostile animal it can`t protect itself( well it can but only with its teeth) @Songheart: After initial declawing, the cat's paws hurt every time they put pressure on them. Oftentimes, they get terrible infections from using the litter box. Also, the litter gets into the wound and hurts terribly, like dirt in a puncture wound (I know from experience...) and the cat will most likely stop using the litterbox. This creates problems for the owners, who will most likely euthanize the cat or give it to a shelter. Cats are /dying/ because of this.
