Story: A long time after Skylight, Rainstorm, and Featherfrost, the five clans have evolved into very high-tech animals. They use the buildings the humans left behind when they all died off, and they are able to distinguish ranks by the things you wear. One of these cats, a descendant of Skylight called Wren (they no longer use the old names), is the leader of one of the clans. She was used to getting everything she wanted, so when she met a tom that she ended up liking, Ice, she demanded him to be with her. Only thing was: He was the son of the elderly leader of one of the clans, and he had a mate already. Wren wouldn't take no for an answer though. A few nights later, she told one of her most loyal cats, Burn, to take out Ice's mate. Burn did so, and a few days later Wren demanded that he stay with her. By then, though, Ice had figured out who killed his mate and why, so he said he'd rather be with a worm than with her. Wren let anger take control of her, and she ended up killing Ice in a fit of rage. When she was asked about his death, she put up an act, doing her best to convince everyone someone else did it. Only one thing: Burn, who had loved Wren, followed her out the day she killed Ice. He didn't want to be with a cat who would kill if he made one wrong move, so after Wren left after being asked about Ice, Burn exposed her. He knew that they must've noticed the blood on her cape, so he used that as proof that she committed the crime. Wren was exiled, but when she rolled onto her back for the other leaders to cut off her cape, they refused, knowing that she would be easier to recognize with it on. Wren now lives in the wild, and all cats she meets out there, she shows them her kind outer shell, but on the inside, there was a beast with a bloodstained cape pacing, waiting to get out, with cracks as deep as the ones in the buildings she used to live in.
