*** Works slightly better when downloaded. Requires 1.3 *** The words of Shakespeare as read by the Scratch Cat. This project was an experiment to see just how much data you could put in a list before Scratch crashed. This is about as much as it can handle. Controls: ====== Space - Next Page Right Arrow - Next Page Mouse Click - Next Page Left Arrow - Previous Page You can also use the slider to set the line number Credits: ===== Hamlet was written by W. Shakespeare I got the text of Hamlet from <A href="http://shakespeare.mit.edu/hamlet/full.html">http://shakespeare.mit.edu/hamlet/full.html</A> Things to Improve: ============= Wouldn't it be cool if different sprites read the different parts? It could be done by setting up another list to tell which sprite should talk for each line...a lot of work though. Some sort of index by Act and Scene would be nice and not a whole lot of work. I would really like a better way to format output for the speech bubble (or some other printing technique)
