E to pick up items click on things shaded green to go to them, I to open inventory Click the item you want to move in the inventory, and use the arrow keys to move it, click away to stop moving the item.
This is the base of a game i might make. the current features right now are: - inventory - clickable doors and containers - physical items - inventory items (buggy) - different rooms It is in very early stages, but, the game is going to be a kind of post-apocalyptic world, which im not sure if it involves zombies or not, and also, i only spent about 5 minutes on the inventory so i know it is bad, and when i add other inventory items im going to need to do a major overhaul with the items, ill need to create separate classes for them, i currently have 3 physical items in the game, and 1 inventory item, but the inventory item is also a physical item and its all messed up, Things i will add: - Crafting, this will include things like, molotov cocktails, small bombs and other consumable weapons, - Weapons, such as metal bars or crowbars, knives, - Eye movements, so you can look around a a room, currently you see the whole room, but i think i will redo the graphics and make them a panorama of a whole room and so the character can look around the room, although this may need a lot of work and maybe you should only expect this kinda stuff in very much later versions, although it would be better to get this out of the way early, im not sure, depends how much anyone wants it. - Uses for items, this will hopefully come out in the next version, you will be able to light a match and throw it at something, also, in the inventory, see the "inventory" space and then the equipped and toolbar, i will make it so that, when using something from the toolbar that relies on something else, for example, to light a molotov cocktail you need a match, it will use items from the equipped area, and i am also working out a way to make the toolbar visible without the inventory open, but i can only do this after inventory items and physical items are separate classes - MORE AREAS! i am probably going to finish at least this house by adventure game5, i am planning to add a whole town, but i would like it to be a street, not a town, so you may not be able to loot anything from shops until much later
