Kits: none Mate: none Backstory: Heathersong was born with her two sisters, Snowkit and Maplekit. Heatherkit, who was always happy and doing something, usually followed a warrior named Silverwhisker. Silverwhisker, who seemed quite annoyed with the young kit, always hissed at her and told her to just buzz off. When Heatherkit was three moons old, Silverwhisker got greencough. Heatherkit thought she would recover from it, and go back to her usual patrols and hunting, but for a quarter moon Silverwhisker stayed in the medicine cat's den, getting worse. Heatherkit decided to visit her, and find the correct herb that would save her. She picked up a juniper berry, but the medicine cat batted it out of her paw and told Heatherkit that it was the wrong herb. Silverwhisker fought on for a few more seconds, during which she told Heatherkit that she wished that she could've been her apprentice. Then she coughed one last time, shivered, then went limp. Three moons later, Heatherkit became an apprentice along with her two sisters. But she never noticed Maplepaw's cruel, ambitious personality along with her loyalty and determination. When they all earned their warrior names: Heathersong, Snowstorm, and Mapleleaf, Mapleleaf didn't sit vigil. She ran over to the nursery in the middle of the night and stole the kits, running deep into the forest to hide them. Luckily, At the end of the vigil, Heathersong and Snowstorm scented out the kits and brought them back. Mapleleaf was almost exiled, but she was smart enough to hide the evidence that she did it. They all got apprentices, who soon became warriors. Then Mapleleaf was chosen as deputy. One night, she snuck into the leader's den and killed him. Mapleleaf was so ambitious that she had broken the warrior code. Heathersong found out, though, and Mapleleaf was exiled. The medicine cat chose another cat, a brown tabby tom as the new leader. Heathersong had found out about Mapleleaf's crime, and the new leader promised she was next in line for deputy.
