Instructions

This is kind of a variation on my picture scanner.. It will scan an outline image of your choice, and carve it out of the current stage background! Just follow these 7 steps: step 1: click "see inside" and go into the stage. step 2: import your desired background and scale it however you like. step 3: go into the sprite named "outline" and import your desired outline as a new costume. scale it however you like, then move it on the stage to line up with wherever you want the image to be on it. -NOTE: this project cannot "sense" an outline on the sprite; it simply scans for an array of pixels on the costume, regardless of color. So if you fill the outline all black and it doesn't look right, it won't work the way you want it to. step 4: click the "scan" button and wait for it to scan the image. -NOTE: turbo mode is not required step 5 (optional): click the "draw" button to make sure it scanned the image correctly. it will draw the imported image in all black. step 6: click the "carve" button, and watch the awesomeness!!! step 7 (optional): click the "hide toolbar" button, then right-click on the stage, and choose "save picture of stage". Your carved image will then be exported to your desired destination. Congratulations! You have a super awesome carved picture.
