Put on some headphones, and relax. :) The thunder is randomly played every few seconds. The rain noise oscillates to give the impression of a true rainstorm. Press space to change the sound generation variables. Thunder frequency: How often thunder will play, on a scale of 1 to 5. 1 is often, and 5 is rarely. Oscillation amount: How much the rain will increase/decrease in volume. The higher the number, the more drastic the volume change. Speed: How quickly the rain sound oscillates. 0.1 is reeeeeally slow, and 3 is hurricane fast.
I've been using a rain soundscape generator recently, and I figured I'd try and make one in Scratch! :D Pen fade technique from @mikeono102 I got the inspiration for the pen-rendered rain from this project: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/22555906/ All sounds from soundbible. Hurricane Mode: set Thunder frequency to 1, oscillation to max, and speed to 3. :P
