To start a drill: Click the green flag and enter the number of dots (size of band) that will be part of the drill. All dots will start on top of each other, so you will want to drag them to their own spots. If you want to load a drill, enter any number (1 is suggested) and then load the drill. If you enter something invalid (not a counting number), the drill will default to example 1. To load a drill: Press "L" and enter a save code. NOTE: Once you load a drill, the dots will go to set 0. To load an example drill: Press "E" and enter the example ID (1 is the first one, 2 is the next, etc.). Then click after the dots get to set zero. To save a drill: Press "C" and copy the list. (There's only one item.) Unfortunately, the save codes can get very long so the comment section's character limit gets in the way. To edit a set: If the "Set" variable shows the set number you want to edit, simply drag the dots to the position you want them to be in. Do not move the mouse rapidly while releasing a dot or else the dot's position may not save. Press "S" to enter the number of seconds it should take to get to that set. A dot will turn purple momentarily after being moved to show that its position has been saved. To make a new set: Press N on the last set, then start editing. To remove data on a set: Press N on a set other than the last one, then enter the set number of the set you would like to remove. The dots will be set to the positions of the set before for the set you selected, then those positions will be saved (unless you enter 0, in which case set 0 will become identical to set 1). If you wish to simply remove a set, making the seconds to set 0 will effectively accomplish the task. To change sets: Use the left and right arrow keys. DO NOT CLICK A DOT WHILE IT IS MOVING! To run the drill: Press space. Again, DO NOT CLICK A DOT WHILE IT IS MOVING! To change rounding: Press P to strengthen rounding and press O to weaken rounding. To select a dot: Click the dot. It will stay a reddish orange until you click it again. You can have multiple dots selected. To deselect all dots: Press D. To check for collisions: Press T. The dots will progress to the next set in four seconds, and if they are ever closer to another dot than (Collision Range)/10, then they will turn red until you move them, select or deselect them, or remove the effect from all dots by pressing F. Using the Circle tool: Move the mouse to where you want the center of the circle (rounding applies), then press R and hold. Move the mouse to the desired radius and release R (rounding will apply and can be changed at any time). Then enter the number of points on the circle. Then move the mouse left and right to change where on the circle the points are (rounding applies here, too, and can also be changed). Press R to complete the circle and the circle will stop flashing. Then drag dots to the purple points on the circle and they will snap to them (rounding applies after the snap, so rounding on 0.1 steps is advised). To remove the circle when you are finished, press R. Only one circle can be used at a time, and the line tool cannot be used at the same time as the circle tool. Using the Line tool: Move the mouse to where you want an endpoint of the line to be (rounding applies) and press X and hold. Move the mouse to the desired other endpoint and release X (rounding will apply and can be changed at any time). Then enter the number of points on the line. The line will stop flashing. Then, drag dots to the purple points on the line and they will snap to them (rounding applies after the snap, so rounding on 0.1 steps is advised). To remove the line when you are finished, press X. Only one line can be used at a time, and the line tool cannot be used at the same time as the circle tool.
If you have drill you want me to add as an example, please find a way to send it to me (a remixed project, for one) and let me know in the comments section. Please report bugs and suggest features! I plan to add more tools. Feature list (look at instructions for more detail) - Save and Load codes - Example drill - Easy to use set editing - Mistakes are fixable - Unlimited marchers and sets - Custom amount of time between sets - Dot selection - Rounding - Collision detection - Circle tool - Line tool
