Use the arrow keys to move. You might not move the right way, because in this game, it splits the controls, so it moves in a general direction. Everyone who is currently playing uses the arrow keys, and the player moves in the most common direction.
One day, I saw a split controller for Pokemon on twitch.tv so I decided to make one myself.
