My train of thought Slide one: BRAINSTORM! Now, I wanted and anthropomorphic bird in the drawing and I wanted some magic. And anthropomorphic eagle sorcerer! Slide two: What do I like and not like...what can I improve. Well, I added a magic necklace/amulet thing. I also made the head feathers look more like hair. MENTAL NOTE! Make bigger feet. Slide three: Final line art. I changed the position of the arm and made the feet bigger. (I had to look at a lot of references) Slide four: I have now colored in the base colors of this thing and added the magic in the eagle's hand. I made a swirling mark on his head and made the necklace and magic glow. Slide five: SHADING! Slide six: The light...*Angelic music plays in the background* Slide seven: Add a background, touch up the lights and darks, and BAM! You've got yourselves a pretty cool drawing. :)
