I've never done scrolling on SCRATCH before so when I looked in search for any projects that could help me they all had variables and velocity, blah blah blah. I developed my own technique which I called the 'Scrolling Box' which doesnt involve variables but very simple scratching. I hopefully made my script as easy to read as possible and I hope that this will help any unsure scratchers with scrolling.
