To show what my face looks like in rl (unless im laughing or have a reason to force my face muscles to do this: C:) 2. To showcase the FanDigimon/creature that I will probably use to represent me, however her design is subject to change (Should her name be something like Willowmon? idk) She looks too much like Dorumon, but I just took a buncha results I got from personality tests and made her - shes not supposed to be based on Dorumon at all T.T (not like Faunamon, anywho) 3. Because I think so much im an insomniac. HELP ME *falls asleep on desk* *WARNING: RANT BELOW* But in all seriousness, the main reason I drew this is to let out a rant. Lets start off by saying I probably WONT do the vacation animation, too much work and I have better things to do (unless my mom threatens to punish me if I don't write a summary of my vacation so I make the animation instead *bricked*) but I could write a little something (it'd be silly and poorly-written of course) just to remember it by. (If anyone is such a stalker they care about my vacation). The main thing that was bothering me last night (nigh - inside joke, don't try to get it) was something Rainy said to me last night (nigh). "Its not that I don't like Digimon, its just that it doesn't really interest me that much. I liked the first arc, though." Then she said something about "Crimson something something mon" and im like "Deh hair?" but that's besides the point XD (I seriously just hoped she watched Adventure [with Agumon] and not some other season like Fusion [with Shoutmon]). Now, it wasn't anything bad she said, its just I was trying to figure out something - what is it that makes the first arc with Devimon better then all the other episodes (I love that first arc too - nothing brought me more joy then watching those first 13 episodes of Digimon except possibly the first time I played Fossil Fighters Champions, but that's entirely besides the point here). I always thought I loved it because the children were naïve and didn't have a clue what the hairballs was going on. However, Rainy likes more "Mature Anime" so the cutesy naiveness wouldn't make any sense. Well, I was rummaging around in the back of my brain and it hit me - the threat was really there. Like, remember what had to happen for Agumon to Digivolve to Greymon? Tai had to almost get strangled. Same with Gabumon to Garurumon, Matt almost got squished. For Biyomon to Digivolve, an entire village of her family was at risk, and for Tentomon to get to Kabuterimon, he had to almost burn apart from the inside. Gomamon to Ikkakumon, Joe almost splattin on the ground, and Palmon to Togemon, Mimi was the only human not hypnotized by a giant teddy bear and her partner was the only Digimon not stuck in a box. TK was almost killed by Devimon, but Patamon was all like "You gonna die now" and turned into Angemon and kicked Devimon's butt. XD But point being, the children were in danger, they weren't just watching helplessly from the sidelines (I have a tendency to overlook when the humans themselves help fight, as im pretty used to Pokémon, what with the fact that I've seen ALL OF THE EPISODES AT LEAST ONCE.) So I think to myself "No problem, the humans themselves are the Digimon who fight, so that wont be a problem at all." But there are other things that make those first 13 episodes great, too. None of the Digimon (except Ogremon and Devimon....and Kuwagamon) are actually evil, just tainted by the black gears. Whereas, in DE, I have to figure out a reason for all of the Digimon to obey the Digimon Conqueror (his powers are supposed to be super strong, so perhaps he can put a spell on certain Digimon to recruit them, and then those Digimon go and bring their friends, and ect and ect? something along those lines). So since im still not entirely sure what makes the first arc so grand, I'll just try a buncha different things and do my best to make the plotline of DE as good as I can! :3 (I cant make the artwork any better cause im a fail artist, but I can at least try to make a good plot and good characters and hope that the storytelling part can cover up the artwork). But I have a question for everyone else: what season of Digimon (Adventure, Adventure 02, Tamers, Frontier, Data Squad, Fusion) is your favorite, and what arc is your favorite? (Devimon's arc in Adventure, the Deva arc in Tamers, Cherubimon's arc in Frontier, ect) Also, why do you think you like that particular arc and season? (note, you can have a favorite season that isnt the season where your favorite arc is - cause maybe after your favorite arc the season flopped or something). You think im done? YOU THINK IM DONE?! Ha, what a laugh, MAYBE we're halfway done~ Oooh guess what? I might draw all of the Digimon Ocs for stories I've made - from Scalesmon in Digimon Unknown (first season in the timeline, second I plan on writing, right after Digimon Explorers [but I guess its the first Im gonna write since DE is animated]) to Dartmon in...season 6 (I only developed a basic idea of the humans since I've been back from vacation, and all I've done for the Digimon is drawn them over vacation and slowly given them personalities.) Yeah I plan on hitting 6 seasons Wanna hear a basic explimation (or in some cases all that ive figured out for them)? You don't? Oh well XD Digimon Unknown - 7 (and eventually 8, then 9) humans find themselves teleported to a strange world with strange monsters, and alongside their Digimon partners they must stop evil from spreading. This season is supposed to be similar to Adventure where the villains aren't really related, however I do hope to form a better, more stable plotline by the time I'm ready to write this one. Digimon "Morphers" - because "Morphers" sounds too much like an ad for some Transformers toy, I'm still working on the name. This is the only season that has cannon Digimon for partners, however their designs are altered a bit so they're easier to draw. This season has a female lead, but her partner, Veedomon, is male. In this season, similar to Digimon Unknown, they just go around beatin up evil Digimon, and I do wish to develop the plot better, but as of now I have nothing. The digimon partners and their personalities (besides Veedomon) are not yet set in stone, but the human personalities and human looks are. However, what makes this series unique is that, like Frontier and DE, the humans can turn into Digimon. But unlike those two other seasons, they still have partners. The humans' Digimon forms aren't set in stone either, except Rikki, the female leader, who is a Gazimon with goggles. Digimon Explorers - You know it. Hopefully you love it. An evil human who calls himself the Digimon Conqueror has been ruthlessly....conquering every inch of the Digital World, and it is up to three human children and the friends they make on their way to stop him. Currently in production, this series is similar to Frontier where there are no Digimon partners (however they do make close bonds with some Digimon that travel around with them) and the humans themselves have to fight. However, unlike Frontier, these children don't have a chance to become humans again, or to leave the Digital world. The sovereigns sucked them into this mess, and they're gonna have to clean there way out of it. There are two definite arcs -Tyrantmon's, the one we're on currently, and the Digimon Conquerors, where they are solely trying to find him and take him down. BUT if the series is popular enough (or my friends don't want it to end, either way) I'll add a "filler" second arc which will either be similar to Myotismon's arc (theres this snobbish strong guy who believes the children are no matter) or the Dark Master's arc (several strong digimon either just trying to go about their way and constantly being annoyed by the twerps-er I mean heroes or assigned to destroy the brats-I mean good-doers....) The Dark Master-like arc would be a lot longer (and if I do that I have a right to cut Tyrantmon's arc short instead of forcing in a bunch of filler episodes, YAY) while the Myotismon-like arc would be shorter (and im more likely to do that one if nobody requests the longer one). Sooo which one would you guys rather have? Digimon Online/.Com (creative title is creative *facepalm*) - Sooo somehow, somebody managed to hack into the Digital World and turn it into a children's game. One day a girl (yeah this season has a female lead too) decides to try this game out. She meets several friends, and together they find out something about the game that would've been better left hidden. The exact number of protagonists I don't know yet, but there are at least three (probably four cause I plan to have a Ken-like charry X3 plus I cant imagine the boy behind Platymon likes being the only guy ._.) and the exact "secret" is kinda foggy (plus its a secret) soooo.... I don't entirely know what media I plan to put this on. If I put it on scratch, some parts may seem a little empty (cause Kinkamon [dunno her human name yet] is all like 'oops, gotta go to bed, bye guys!' and then like a minute of filler conversation between Elemon and Platymon XD) but if I write it, I can include scenes where its actually just the human (and I don't have to make the entire thing just the video game). I could write it and then post it on scratch (with a pic over there <--- and the story right here), but by then I'll probably have a Fanfiction ac (I could post it on both though). Digimon....Darkness? - because this season gets a little darker then the rest of my seasons. I don't plan on uploading it here (so I'll have to have a fanfic ac) but I can link you to the story if and when I write it. It revolves around seven humans and their Digimon. The Digimon are made from one of the digicores of each of the sovereigns (I know there are only 5 sovereigns, I think I'll add KingWhamon and Varodurumon - one for the sea and one for the sky - the reason I do this is so that the number of Sovereigns and Great Demon Lo-ER Kings [I say kings, I aint sayin the "l" word] equal out.) The seven Digimon are known as the "Keys of Light" and they are supposed to vanquish the "Keys of Darkness". However, things go horribly wrong in this story, and the main reason I even bothered to add it to this is so that I could make something darker that Rain and Sharp might enjoy. Digimon Islanders - While Islanders probably wont be the final name (what kinda name is it, anyway?) it does, as of now, take place in a band of island. It revolves around the Digimon designs I drew on vacation (Huskymon, Marcymon, Blumon, Dolimon, Fluttermon, and Dartmon to be exact) and their human partners. I think after sooo many "different" seasons, I will hopefully have learned the same lesson fans have been trying to teach Bandai for years - WE LIKE ADVENTURE, SO MAKE SOMETHING LIKE ADVENTURE! It'll be nostalgic once I finally get back to a lighthearted season (I'll be tired from Season 5) and especially because of its similarity to DU. What makes this season unique is, like Digimon Re:genesis (not my season, its a story on Fanfiction.net and Deviantart, plus it has its own website) the leader's partner isn't a dragon - hes a husky. Dartmon (the dragon type) currently belongs to the lone wolf (who is the gogglehead's sister), however this is subject to change. Do note, as of now, DE is the ONLY one that will be animated, because it is the only one without regular showings of humans (and I cant draw humans, let alone animate them). Those are all the seasons I have for now, but I bet by the time I reach number 6, I'll already be at 10! XD I can imagine that these stories will keep me busy until my 20s though, and because school and whatnot they'll be kinda slow. DE will probably hold me up the most - animating is A LOT harder then writing. But I'll keep pressin on, so to my friends - if you don't see me on aj too much during the school year, it means im rushing to get DE done! (and also, sorry if I see you on aj and don't respond much - jamagram me and tell me to pay attention and I will XD) Welp, if you survived my rant, congratulations.
