Description

----> :O @CrazyNimbus actually curated this! This is my second project ever curated, and thanks all for loving and favouriting (or even viewing ;) ) this! Especially thanks to Nimbus for curating! :D Oh yeah, I highly suggest you read README. ;P ==================== README ==================== --> TURN YOUR VOLUME UPP! One of my best projects! :D This is a project I worked on over the weekend and the week, grabbing inspiration from a couple of the most awesome people in the world, Mom and Dad. ;) Basically it allows you to play any music, be it from a website or one of the built in tracks, and it'll make a nice background/screensaver go with it. Probably best to run this in full screen, I have no idea if it runs decently for you but it runs a lot of clones so it might be a little slow.. not much to do about that other than use some extensively complicated lists though. :P ==================== CREDITS ==================== SONG LIST: Kevin MacLeod: -- Go Cart -- Mechanolith -- Fluffing a duck Check Kevin out at http://incompetech.com Game Arts / Grandia III: -- Zetec -- A Hot Crash I don't know: -- ONCE MORE (from @lauraisawesome's song) All programming by @liam48D, aka me. :D ================== MORE STUFF ================== Use **ANY** music by opening up a new tab and finding a .mp3 file then playing it! The program detects loudness, so even if you play loud-enough music from your iPod (your iPod can play loud enough music? :o) it'll still work. :) Turn off the music at the start by clicking the slider in the top right. If you have good speakers, you can try out the Laser Glitch - do this by hovering your hands over the speaker, or covering the speaker with a board. This causes there to be a bunch of feedback/echo, making it detect lots of noise, making it send everything overload - the sound bar glitches out, the rotaty-things rotate excessively fastly, and the most scary part: the main things in the center are so large and red they look like giant lasers. ;P Want more music? Here's a couple good places. -> https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYZ9rknEmE4R1J_HBJ2yBlQ Super awesome music maker, Vexento has been making music for a while and has a small-ish channel growing quickly. I find his chillstep music is awesome and works really well with this. :D -> https://www.incompetech.com More well-known, Kevin MacLeod is the creator of thousands tracks over the years, and he uploads music tracks quite often. Often more instrumental music works well.. though Undaunted is one that works decently even though it's semi-quiet. ===================== UPDATES ==================== 1.3: - 13 Aug 2014 - Because today was so special for the project, I released TWO UPDATES IN ONE DAY! :D (see below) I basically added a song called "ONCE MORE", but I have noooo idea who made that. Gonna ask @lauraisawesome - she put that song in her project and it's EPIC. Also thanks to @CrazyNimbus for suggesting that song. ;) 1.2.1: - 13 Aug 2014 - REALLY small update, but today/yesterday meant a LOT for this program as it is curated by @CrazyNimbus and nearly reaching 100 views! :D Oh yeah, guess you want to know what I added in this update. NOTHING! :D I just switched intro to true so that people get the music started right when they run the program. ;) 1.2: - 7 Aug 2014 - Another small update, but it made the sound bar work a bit better; the sound it hears is amplified by two. :) 1.1: - 6 Aug 2014 - Made the fireworks colorful, which is awesome. :D and.. that's about it. :P 1.0: - 5-6 Aug 2014 - Initial release. Contained the big things in the middle that spiral around and dance and stuff. Contained fireworks, but they were really dull.. only yellow. Contained a sound bar on the top left, it worked decently though it kinda took a lot of sound to make it detect things. Also had those blue/red spinning things.
