On her home planet, in which she doesn't know the name, she is constantly being chased down by the similar, human like, alien race that used to live peacefully with her race. Those other aliens then began hunting her and her people, for a war had broken out between two sides of the other group. The beasts became entangled in the war, and she was what the other aliens wanted for their fight. Why? Because she was the only female left. She soon found herself, her father, her friend, and another beast cornered by the raging war-fighters. The stranger distracted the leaders of both sides on the war, by asking how they will claim the prize of Nightlynx, since both sides found her. The leaders began fighting, allowing enough time for Nightlynx, her father Skylinx, her friend Grimwing, and the stranger to escape to a strange planet. Night got separated from the other three, and got lost in a large forest. A few years later, she was found by a native alien, a dragon, who helped Night. This dragon's name was Shinetail, and Shine told her about what the other beasts had been doing to her, for an amulet. Nightlynx was surprised by Linx and Grim's actions, and soon realized what the amulet held. The same thing the natives of her home planet were fighting war over! Night needed to see the amulet, but Shine had given it away. So now, Nightlynx lies low as Shine's pet, and hopes to get the amulet in her claws, to stop the war upon her home planet.
