Ten years later... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~JASPER~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jasper couldn't be happier, he walked confidently through the palace. A couple servants his age aged laughed and said "Hey Jasper!" He replied "That's Prince Jasper, soon to be King." There it was, Jasper's famous grin. The girls giggled, but then another servant came in and said "Back to work! Now!" They turned around, but one snuck a quick glance, blushed, and smiled. The sun filtered through stained glass windows creating a kaleidoscope pattern on the walls. Jasper smiled to himself, nothing could ruin this. But something could. "Prince Jasper," a voice from the shadows whispered. "Come forth." "Wh-who are you! Wh-why should I trust you!" "I will tell you, but come, they can't hear me say this." Jasper stepped forward, and there was an (old) yellow dragon with specks of red and blue. "I'm Glimmer, a soldier from before the times of your father," she said."Now let me tell you a secret." <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Jasper's world came crashing down. His father, his idol, the king for goodness's sake, was evil. He had killed Jasper and Opal's mother, his own MATE. Not to mention the ONLY reason Obsidian even wanted dragonets was all for his scheme. "I don't want you telling anyone, okay?" Glimmer asked him. But Jasper already knew what he had to do. 1. He had to tell Opal. 2. They had to run away. 3. They were going to find a way to end this.
