SLIGHT spoiler alert (Michel's Mega form, and the following story may possibly be included into the DE anime) Hey I actually did what I said I was gonna do. Yay. And I'm actually happy with how it turned out. Yay. I still fail at art though. Boo. Anybody interested in knowing how long this took? Here: The sketch took somewhere around 30 minutes – I wasn’t paying attention to the time (the reason it took so long is because I COULDN’T GET MEGASLASHDRAMON’S [the name may change] FEET RIGHT, NOR COULD I GET ANYTHING ELSE RIGHT *dies* At least I figured out how I used to draw Scalesmon and Scalesmon’s Digivolution’s heads – I had forgotten because I hadn’t drawn them in a while and every time I drew them recently their heads looked messed up). Making the mistake of tracing the lineart on the same layer as the sketch in Photoshop took about 5 minutes. Outlining the sketch (correctly, on a different layer) took about 23 minutes, give or take a couple. Basic Coloring took about 7 – 10 minutes (I was fiddle farting so probably more like 7 minutes) Shading took about 30 minutes (ugh) The bg took about….holy cow, I forgot, but I think about 10 minutes? Oi, the brush I was experimenting with made it go quick, I guess! Even though I did make a few mistakes…. (that or my computer’s clock is broken) So I guess the whole thing took me about 1 hour and 40 minutes (or so, maybe more like 30) Ha I doubt anyone cares. (I was looking through all the scratch sounds to try to find a somewhat depressing and mysterious music-like sound, and holy cow some noises are weird XD but I decided on this one because this is the birth of determination, not the wallowing in depression) You may notice a few errors - Fuzzdramon is slightly more teal then blue (due to my laziness to get his color correct), he's slightly darker grey (because that's how his plushie looks and I decided that the color works, however I will probably keep Scratch color due to the fact that its easy to find) and that he looses one of his claws on all of his limbs as he Digivolves. Actually, underneath the bigger claws on MegaSlashdramon's hands, he has smaller, three-clawed hands. However, his feet have two claws instead of three because he is meeting the Ancient Soldier of Justice - Mich looks a little different than he does (but from Champion and up, the differences are subtle). He is NOT meeting himself in Mega form. Also, MegaSlashdramon is kinda like a "spirit" in this scene, so he's pixelly and faded. Oh, and something I need to clear up - actually two things. Does everyone know that "Michel" is another way of spelling "Mitchel", not "Micheal"? Mich is a guy XD I'll change the spelling to "Mitchel" if anyone's confused. Also, friends (and me) call him "Mich" (or "Mitch") for short. Im gonna listen to this music again once I come back from eating snack. XD
Fuzzdramon - light grey, white, and blue rabbit/dragon with green eyes. MegaSlashdramon (name subject to change) - big blue armored humanoid dragon with big red wings, a grey mask, and green eyes. Story: Mich sat alone, hugging his knees close to his chest. He twittled his ivory claws boredly as his mind spun with questions (NOTE: the questions will NOT be included due to MAJOR spoilers). Suddenly, a faded figure appeared in front of him. Its bright red wings spread out, and its familiar green eyes stared down at him. It was none other than MegaSlashdramon, is shape was faded and pixelly, but still easily distinguished. "Why are you sitting there while your friends are in trouble?" he asked, his deep voice strict. "Its over, we cant defeat *name removed do to spoilers*!" Mich grumbled, his eyes watery, "We can't win..." MegaSlashdramon bent down, his gaze focused but soft. "You're the Soldier of Justice," he stated calmly, "You must fight for what is right, and give your life for the greater good. You can't let the darkness win. C'mon bud, you can't let me down." His normal humorous tone returned, MegaSlashdramon smiled. "You ready now?" Mich rubbed his eye with one blue paw, then clenched it. He stood up. "I'm ready." MegaSlashdramon clenched his inside fist as well, then pumped it into the air. "Then lets go!" A tear opened up in the white expanse around them, and side by side they marched out of the safety cloud and into the raging battle. It was time. *Cannot say anymore due to spoilers* Oh also, I was going through my papers on my desk (cause my mom made me) and I found a pre-Digimon Fuzzdramon o-o it had the stripe on its back going up to its forehead instead of the spot on one eye and the stripe on the other. It was also a lot chibier. There was also a bird who had a similar body structure to Hootmon o3o
