Name: Pepper Smith Gender: Female Breed: lab/collie mix Age: maybe 16-20 ish, I don't know Likes: leaves, photographs, vintage things, the truth Dislikes: ghosts, pumpkins, suspicious people Personality: she was upbeat, curious, and playful before; after her parents disappeared, she became wary, cold, bitter, and tough (on the outside). She's also become determined and slightly adventurous (like, risk taker)? Those who are really close to her see her former self. She will lose it if she finds out you've been lying to her. So, a backstory, I guess: Pepper lived with her parents a long time ago, like, maybe when she was five. Both her parents were hard-working farmers. They had a pumpkin farm that was passed on from generation to generation. Her life was good then. There was a curse that ran in her family. Something about one of her ancestors cheating death or something. Well, the ghost said it would come back and haunt her family or something. Well, one October night, she was with her family. A strange fog came over. Her parents asked her to get something from the pantry, and when she came back, her parents were missing and the fog had come in her house. The ghosts were coming for her too, but one of the ghosts pointed out that she was still a child (five years old in human years!), so they spared her life. She's still not off the hook, though. The ghosts took her parent's farm. A pumpkin filled with various ghosts (first picture) comes and haunts her almost every night. But it's not all terrible. The ghost who wanted to spare her life (second picture) helps her get by. She calls him Harry. She still wants to find out what really happened to her parents, though. She doesn't believe they're "gone" like people say. She thinks that the ghosts and her family curse has something to do with it. She wants to get to the bottom of it with Harry. Aaaaaaaand that's it.
