my gym partner's a monkey is another one of those "SpongeBob" Ripoffs besides Coconut fred's fruit salad island, and camp Lazlo. the recipe of this show and the other mentioned shows were reused in chowder and flapjack. Jake is a drunk monkey voiced by Tom Kenny who voiced the main character of what this show's trying to ripoff. Adam however is some kid with a last name being similar to the word "Lion", which sent him to an animal school so his gym partner's a monkey. this show, camp Lazlo. and regular show reuses music from the said nickelodeon series that the cartoons are trying to ripoff. even Disney made a similar to this show and it was called "Brandy and Mr. Whiskers" however it doesn't take place in a school nor does it has humans. instead you should watch the first season of yo-kai watch and it's movie on Netflix. yo-kai watch is good but my gym partner's a monkey is a mixture of good and bad. this series premired in 2006 along with the original Ben 10 that's better then it's annoying 2017 reboot. yo-kai watch is kinda also ripping off the series that premired along with this show but with pokemon mixed in it however instead of turning into pokemon, you summon them. and yo-kais are ghost. I don't know what i'm talking about again but i'm pretty sure you should give this project a star and a heart because of star vs the forces of my monkey gym partner named "Jake". in 2010, there's another cartoon network character named "Jake", but he's a dog. Adam has one of those so-called "Cal-arts" Styled Heads that are used in modern cartoons such as Gumball, Steven Universe, Clarence, Star vs the forces of evil, Harvey Street Kids, and So On.
