I made this for the Create Your Own Restaurant SDS! I imagined a cafe that embraces randomness. The names of dishes are all from real menus from restaurants in NYC from the 1840s to present day. I got them from a dataset of menus collected by the New York Public Library and transcribed by volunteers (menus.nypl.org). I'm using about 10,000 of the many more dishes available.
