Merlin: Personality: Adventurous and always seems to find trouble, even if he doesn't cause it. He's awkward when talking to others sometimes but tries to make friends anyway. He's also quite clever and quick on his feet. Other (might add to this eventually): -He's an apprentice magician (not like an actual sorcerer ;w; think more like card tricks and illusions, but also with electricity/move powers, because this is Pokemon) -He has no personal problems with ultra shinies, however he will get pretty offended at being called/mistaken for one. -He will (hopefully) find and befriend Prince Arthur, and eventually become one of his servants so that the royal family would approve of them meeting each other I am not ashamed for making this
King Basil: Personality: Kind, benevolent, and caring-- that's how most of the kingdom views him. He's always smiling in public, and doing all he can to help those in need (excluding the ultra shinies, of course), or so most Pokemon say...However, he's truly often overly cheerful, and hides most of his other emotions behind a shining smile. He absolutely despises the ultra shinies for the death of his son, and enjoys being able to punish them all while wearing that same bright smile. He can often be brutal in his ways of punishment as well, but is easily overlooked due to how happy he seems while carrying them out, and how he claims it is for the good of the kingdom and its inhabitants. When he occasionally reverts to his overcast form, his true emotions will show, but he prefers not to be seen when that happens. Only something overwhelmingly shocking would force him to show anything other than the persistent smile on his face. Other (might update as character develops in RP): -He's a bit scatterbrained, so Queen Nocturne will often make decisions for him, or he will consult her before committing to an idea. -He worries constantly about his two remaining children, and doesn't approve of them sneaking out of the castle or gallivanting about outside. -If he found any direct descendants of any of the ultra shinies responsible for killing his son, he would wish to have them executed immediately. -He's quite vain, and cares a lot about his appearance, especially before going outside
