The size comparison between Earth and UY Scuti is comparing the radii and not the Volume. Latest Researchs (2017) show that Canis Majoris is probably the second biggest star known. Thanks to @Colorgram for the update UY Scuty is no longer regarded as the biggest star due to new distance measurements: It is now Stephenson 2-18 No the big red spot is currently not that much bigger than Earth because it shrunk signifficantly.
