gOODNESS GRACIOUS!!! i am so in love with this design!!! this character!! this everything!!! i already had a character made and such and ive been trying to scribble up a design for him for so long but i saw him and AUGH i am SMITTEN!! im super sorry this is so late tho!! but technically it says it's still October 1st for me so ayyyy ;^)))) anyways, without further ado: https://imgur.com/a/EeZOK7z Name: Nyx Orius Name Origin: In Greek mythology, Nyx is the goddess of the night, and Orion is a famous constellation. Gender: Male Age: 21 Height: 6'0 Job/Occupation: Odd jobs here and there. Personality: Despite his feminine name, Nyx is a force to be trifled with. He's as bitter as a lemon and his humor is dry, but truthfully it's all a self defense mechanism; he's been hurt too much in the past, so he puts up walls to keep others from hurting him again. Underneath the cold hard shell of cynicism, however, is simply a guy looking out for himself and his family by whatever means possible. Though tough, he's always concerned and gentle with his little brother, and is generally a softie for those he cares about. With others, though? He's not afraid to get his hands dirty. Likes: Black coffee, icees, stargazing, flannels, reading to his brother, and not much else. Dislikes: Summer, crummy horror movies, the scent of coconut, cowards, his father, and pretty much everything else. Friends: Icarus Orius (his brother), Yukon Baker, Tic-Tac Baker, Kenza Relationship Status: Not really able to hold down relationships. Backstory: All his life, he thought it was a messy divorce. His parents had split and his father got custody of his brother, and that was the end of it. He never saw his brother again, and simply hoped he was doing alright. Year after year, he put up with just about everything -- bullies, rejections, and many more, just content with the hope that his brother was doing well. Then, he found it in an old newspaper. His brother, reported missing. His father had never won custody -- his little brother had been reported kidnapped for several years, and he hadn't known the entire time. So, he did what any sensible 19 year old would do. He packed up everything and set out to find his little brother. For couple of years, he scoured the entire country for information, finding bits and pieces that led him closer and closer to his baby brother until finally, in a school district on the complete other side of the country, he found him. Police were called, investigations reopened, and eventually he'd won him back, finally taking him back to where he belonged: Home. Now, years later, he finds himself out of any professional work, but genuinely happy, even through his built-up layers of cynicism. He takes care of his blinded brother, his fragile mother, and in the meantime attempts to figure out the direction his life wants to go. Bonus facts!: ★ He's always tried dating, but nothing ever seems to work out. ★ His odd jobs usually consist of things like backyard mechanic, electrician, roofer, etc. He's good with construction stuff. ★ Often helps Yukon around his home for a small amount of money. ★ Plays the ukulele rather well. ((sorry this was so rushed!! i wish i could go more into the story i have cut out for him but aegjhkgl it's already October first and i had an unfinished animation and aaAAAA,, i think i did alright though!! i hope i get him!!))
