Entry to RainStalker's contest :D I tried a papery texture on this... random cat, instead of a soft blended texture. Also, that reddish orangish blob is falling fire or something :/ You'll have to press space at the beginning. Story: Elie watched stars every night. She thought she knew the constellations by heart because of it, but she would never brag. She thought that the stars were the best things in life, and she was excited to know that on this special night there would be shooting stars. She sat with her brother on the hill and focused on the night sky. She gasped as the first shooting stars went across the sky. But then, the stars started to... fall? Balls of fire fell, and just before hitting the grasses of the hill, extinguished. Elie looked around in wonder, and thought that this was the most special day of her life. Her brother, Ray, stared too, but as Elie watched a 'star' in front of her, he shouted, "Elie, we should go!" Elie shook her head. "We'll never get back through this storm. Ray didn't laugh, and Elie went back to looking about in awe. Ray sighed, but then yelped as a 'star came towards him. Elie could only watch as it extinguished before ashes rested on Ray's back. "Wow" they breathed in unison. The stars fell still, but not as many, and Elie and Ray watched them all night.
