None of my POTHS characters have been able to break the limit of one Scratch page. Until now, because there's so much to cover with Sheila, so here we go: Sheila is an Absol who happens to have inherited dominant Sneasel genes from her father. She comes from a long line of well-acclaimed oracles (or "seers", as she calls them) from another world, and has some of their mystic power. (At least, that's what she claims. Most of her "visions" are just wild guesses.) You should likely take what she says with a grain of salt, because she bears a rather over-active imagination, extensive storytelling skill, and always speaks with drama. Let's imagine that what she tells is true for one minute, with a bit of suspension of disbelief. She was taught to be an oracle, but didn't like telling prophecies of others, and would much more prefer to tell her own stories. In fact, she considers her entire life to be a book with different chapters, and she's one of the protagonists. She always talks like she's quoting a book, referring to herself in third person, often ending up with an inflated ego. And she is very dramatic about any situation. She always uses moves with flair, no matter how useless they may be. If she gets hurt, she will go down in style. She wears a Silk Scarf around her head and neck, but it is purely cosmetic, as well as the amulet that she proclaims "was given by Arceus himself" and her "wings" aren't even functional. Sheila will do anything to get attention. She adores being in the spot-er, moonlight, and acts like a broadway star. She claims to forsee things, but her "future vision" (guesses) is highly indefinite and clouded. She knows she's destined for greatness, but doesn't know how. Yet in the end of the day, while she may be a star who adores attention, the one thing she truly wants in life... is love. She does have one downside, however. She has an unbreakable will, and it is practically impossible to stop her from achieving her dreams. That being said, she WILL do ANYTHING just to put on a show or prove her power, no matter how immoral or inhumane it is. In a way, she's just one step away from being a Dark Pokemon. Coraline just doesn't know any better; Sheila does this all intentionally....
@Pikakit The song is Whatever it Takes by Imagine Dragons. Why? Because that's the one song that got me through all the challenges this week brought upon me. (I suppose this is my birthday present to myself) :D (This is bio #6, and I refuse to repeat the codeword again, as usual.) I decided to draw Sheila in a much more cartoony style than usual, simply because I REALLY WANTED her eyes to look exactly like this. Because if a Lurantis can have orange eyes and "Star earrings" then anything is possible. I think Sheila will be a joy to RP with, simply because I tend to talk over-dramatically in real life, and I've been waiting an eternity to channel it out in an RP setting :D OKAY, BRACE YOURSELVES, HERE'S THE LONG, DRAWN-OUT SECTION WHERE I EXPLAIN HOW I DESIGNED HER: I was trying to complete my Pokedex in Ultra Moon and realized I needed Vanillite. I decided that Sneasel would be the perfect SOS chain candidate, but decided against evolving it, since Pressure is a terrible SOS ability. I looked at Sneasel for so long that I got attached to its design, and wanted to make a hybrid of it (dang this girl's really similar to Fjord, both in typing, eyes, AND inspiration). I'd been playing FEH a lot lately and loved the overly-dramatic way Ophelia talked, so I decided to make a character with that personality. Finally, I wanted her to have some ties to oracles, and thought to somehow tie her into Legends Rising's lore as a distant relative of Soleil, which is hinted at in her backstory, though no one would believe her. (Hey, I transferred Blake from there, I can do what I want!) I was going to originally make her part regular Absol, but then I realized how perfectly Sneasel's feathers would transfer into the wings! And that's about it. Alright, folks, I've had two characters in a row where I didn't have to argue with Pikakit about backstories and such... NOW LET'S BREAK THAT CHAIN WITH THE LONGEST, CONFUSINGEST, PROBLEMATICEST BACKSTORY I CAN WHIP UP! Also, did you know that I drew the original picture of her on my birthday on Samsung Notes inside a car, being displayed along with two other hybrids I drew on an airplane. I might showcase them if you all want :) MESSAGE TO PIKAKIT: Can I possibly change one of Cordelia's moves to a new move I made, Lunar Blade? The thing is, Cordelia knowing Solar Blade makes absolutely no sense, considering she was "blessed" by a lunar Pokemon. It would make much more sense if she knew a made-up Psychic-type equivalent of Solar Blade, where she draws power from the moon instead.
