Here's a idea: Gear's spinning depends on his mood. If he's excited or scared, he spins REALLY quickly. If he's tired, sleeping, bored, or sad. he spins veeeeeeery sloooooooowly. If he's angry, he spins so fast you can only see his face and limbs.
Metallic with a hint of citrus. (There's a character idea for OC in this project.. try to find it!)
