With that said, it is possible we may need back ups if someone doesn't complete their part! And you should still feel free to remix the part that you want regardless! A MAP!! Hello, hello! I've been wanting to host another MAP for a while but every time I sat down to get started, I had an enormous amount of trouble deciding on a song. I kept going back and forth on the type of song I wanted to do, the specific artists I wanted to include, the vibe of the song, etc. Finally, I had enough of the indecisions, stopped being so picky, and decided to go with a song that I find silly/fun and has a good beat: "Everybody Wants to be Famous" by Superorganism :D Now it's time for you all to come in! If you're interested in taking part in this MAP, awesome! I'm looking for lots of folks to help me complete this. There are 22 parts available with various lengths for the each of them (everything listed below). If you want to participate, here are some things you need to know [PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE REQUESTING A PART]: + I'm hoping to have this MAP completed around the start of November. I am asking each animator to complete their part by October 31 (Halloween!). If you sign up for a part you are agreeing to this deadline. + There are 22 parts up for grabs. One part per person. + When requesting a part, please provide 2-3 parts you might want to do (saying them in order of preference), and I’ll let you know later which part you got! I won’t be announcing parts right away, so please be patient with me as I figure out who will be doing what :) + Please provide links to some animations you have done in the past when requesting a part. + Please try to keep the number of sprites you use to 3 or less. If you need more, we can chat, but let's start with just 3. + I've left some instructions inside for you. There is a sprite called "Part Example" that has the most important information. All the other sprites can be deleted. + Please don't add a watermark, I'll take care of credit. + I will do both the intro and the ending, so if you take part 1 or part 22, don't worry about introducing/closing the project + When you know that you will be doing a part, remix this project so I can keep track of all the different pieces. (I'll confirm with people to let them know which parts they have) + Please be sure to LABEL all your sprites/backgrounds according to which part you have. For example, if you are Part 7, your background/sprite names should include "Part 7". + Try to use the coding format shown in "Part Example" when coding your part. See example inside. Also feel free to ask me questions. + If you've read all this, you are awesome. To let me know you are serious in participating in this MAP, please do the following things: 1) share a famous person, place, or thing you look up to or enjoy and 2) tell me you can complete your part by October 31st + If there is more interest than there are parts, please keep in mind that not everyone will be able to participate in the completed MAP. But that does not mean that you can't remix anyway! I would still love to see what you create :) + Also, I have no restrictions on what you animate - your part is yours, so have fun and do what inspires you! :D + Optional: I'm enjoying the vibrant colors/"pop art" vibe I used for the thumbnail. If you feel inspired, it would be awesome for you to also use bright colors and/or a pop art vibe. It's not required but definitely encouraged ^.^
