I'm thinking of possibly starting a series of projects to help out with the art of some Scratchers. Essentially, I'll add on to an image via Photoshop or the Scratch editor to highlight some lighting mistakes that I see or things to improve on. For @Uniqueeni, you commented that the cat you made was horrible on your project haha, so I wanted to help you out! You got the main shape and colors which are great, but your eyes need to be slanted inwards more and a pupil and eyelines need to be apparent. One major mishap was the lack of shading. With the Scratch editor you can actually use transparency quite a bit to discern between different lighting schemes and highlights. Also, you'll want to showcase the fine details of fur through thin brushstrokes (Honestly you'd want thinner than this but the Scratch editor doesn't support a smaller brush size). Hope this constructive criticism helps you out! This took about ~15 or 20 minutes?
