Instructions are simple; Click 'Play' to load up the game (wait for the loading screen to finish) and once Earth has counted down til' it says "Shoot em' up!" you can then move with the Left and Right arrow keys whilst being able to shoot laser bullets with the Space bar. Objective is to destroy all the Invaders before time runs out. If there is ANY Invaders remaining when the timer runs out, you die, but if ALL Invaders are destroyed before the timer runs out, wait for the remaining time to go down to 0 to get praised for your victory!
I used CoolText to make the digital looking titles (as seen on the menu screen, win screen and the lose screen) and also used PhotoShop to make the Player Turret, the Laser Bullet, the Explosion and the Invader. Everything that wasn't mentioned (the Play button, loading bar, any other text etc) was made using Scratch's Sprite costume creator menu. The Earth and the Moon, is just stock Sprites that Scratch provides you with in the Sprite Library. (CoolText is entirely web-based and free, but PhotoShop is a paid program. Alternatively, you can use Paint.NET, which is similar to PhotoShop) ~Paint.NET: http://www.getpaint.net/ (Paint.NET is entirely free, unlike PhotoShop)
