Description

Shoot arrows and hit a moving target. A long time ago, I was asked to make a Bow and Arrow game. I finally got around to thinking about it and came up with a really simple approach for dealing with the arrow angle that looks reasonably realistic that I thought I would share. It turns the arrow clockwise at a rate proportional to the sine of the direction angle. So, straight up or down, there is no turning. Horizontal (90 degrees) there is maximum turning and so on. Credits: ====== The archer is from Wikipedia Commons and is originally from the Bayeux Tapestry so the image (before I mangled it) was created almost 1000 years ago The bow string release sound I got from Shanesta's Archery Champion Beta game. The bell sound is from www.soundsnap.com instead of one target 4 and this is a based on project of paddle2see 1.smallville
