They don't realize that the pup and mother are a living thing. They treat them like toys for being used over and over without caring for it. Please help them. They need us. We can change the future only if we have goals. And this should be one of them. If you are planning to get a pet, don't buy them. Adopt the ones who were once strays or abused. My dog was bused and her last owner surrender. We got her at an animal shelter, the humane society. Get yours there too. Silvershimmer43: abused dogs are breaking my heart. I used to have an abused dog live right next door to me, but when i moved to where i live now, he came to me, and i came to him with open arms in hope that someday, i would change his life. His name was Chewy, because he was so furry that he looked like chewbacca. I fed him every day, and i treated him like he was a part of my family. The reason i tell you this story is because about a year ago, i found out that Chewy was born in a puppy mill. What broke my heart last year, was that when i came over to feed him, he was gone. I talked to his owners, and thay said that they didn't want to keep him anymore, so they sent him to the pound. I pray that he has a new family, a new name, a new life with a family tha really cares. I cryed for a few days because i loved him, but Chewy has his own path to take, and it either in heaven, or with a new family.
