A try on an audio sequencer for percussion. 8 tracks on 1/16 beat each one with a different percussion instrument. Press play and start clicking the dots to make the instruments play! If you press spacebar while clicking will produce an alternative, louder sound and the light turn GREEN instead of yellow. Controls should be easy to grasp, but if there is any doubt, please ask in comments!
The design is broadly based on Fruity Loops software. There are a lot of things to add: -Change track instrument. Done! -Change volume. Hard to implement as volume is sprite-level. -Change tempo. Done! -Several patterns swappable for tracks. V 1.0 Initial basic release V 1.1 Change tempo. minor interface changes Change instrument of tracks with visual icon (still unfinished). v 1.2 Added 4 positions to keep and switch patterns on the fly. Press the 1 to 4 keys. Fixed the change instrument buttons and added a text clue on rollover the icon. v 1.3 Revamped the way data is saved. I was using a list for each track, now a single list holds all data. Added solo button. Added two more tracks (8 total) Slots for saving patterns are broken, would be reintroduced ASAP First try for a way to export data using save button, but binary to decimal conversion way too slow. Now data is not reset when green flag pressed. Instruments and notes are keep. v1.4 Load and save functional. Please paste your favourite patterns on comments! v1.5 Dropped synth drums and loaded mp3 drum samples instead. That causes some trouble on solo tracks. Need to edit the icons to reflect actual sound, but the text on rollover icons is right. VERY IMPORTANT: added alternative sound of same instrument pressing SPACE+CLICK, the light turns GREEN instead of yellow. Now double the expression! v1.6 Changed the way solo and mute works.
