Blossomlight took a mouse from the fresh-kill pile. She sat down with her friend, Moonpelt, to eat. Moonpelt had been her best friend since they were kits. They had trained together, hunted together, and became warriors together. They shared the mouse. Moonpelt asked Blossomlight: ‘Do you know about that prophecy Frostfang received? He talked about it with the other medicine cats, and they think one cat from each Clan shall travel together as a group to find something. He thinks the cat representing LightClan is you!’ she said, bristling with excitement. That night, Frostfang called her to his den. Blossomlight heard him say: ‘You need to follow me. I need to take you to the Lightcave. The medicine cats are meeting there with the prophecied cats. You need to come.’ He said as he started towards the entrance. Blossomlight followed. Blossomlight was not expecting this. Nightdawn and Leafcloud and Willowleaf from GoldenClan, Snowynose and Lightrose from MistClan, Hollycloud and Flowerpool from RoseClan, Brightpaw and Blazefire from BreezeClan. And herself and Frostfang. So these are the prophecied cats. She thought as she stepped closer to the Crystalheart. Blossomlight gave a yelp of alarm as they all stepped forward. Blossomlight ate the herbs Frostfang gave her, and set off with the others. Blossomlight was keeping watch when a rustling sound came from the bushes. She unsheathed her claws, preparing for a fight in case the cat wanted to attack. If it was a cat. It was. A small black tom was sitting on the stone. Blossomlight came over. He was a bit younger than Nightdawn. ‘What’s your name?’ She asked. ‘S-Sand…’ he said. ‘I got lost… Can you help me?’ he said. Blossomlight went hunting first. She caught a vole, and gave it to Sand. She took him back to the camp, and made him a bed, then curled back to sleep. Nightdawn was taking the next watch.
