I'm AWFUL at writing, so this will be confusing. I'm really trying to get better. This also contains I guess religious stuff to do with god that might contradict religion, so if you're sensitive, don't read. Also, if ur really young, read at your own cost. *God is the supreme being, who created the universe, and the most powerful. He took bits of himself to make the first Death, Fate, and the members of the grand jury. *The grand jury makes all the decisions, and god is only called in really bad cases of really powerful things they can't stop. *Fate and Peony's mother knew each other very well. *Peony was not asexually reproduced by her mother. Everyone believes that, but God tried making a being just as powerful as himself, but she failed and he couldn't even make her have a fraction of his power. She supposedly was a complete dud, and he just gave her to Peony's mother, since you just need the special scythe passed down to be a Death. Peony is a generation of 'Deaths'. There are a species of cosmic being with no actual original physical form perceivable by humans. Deaths are kinda a sub species of that, with many families that do the job of 'Death' in folklore. They are more of the harvesters of souls, and only Fate and the grand jury can decide who dies and who doesn't. Peony's always been one to not get why they decide who lives and dies. The Deaths reproduce asexually, but each individual takes the form of the place they are in. Her mom was stationed on earth, taking care of their whole solar system. Before her mother did, a year ago, she told Peony to not question fate's decisions of who should die, and just harvest them. "I will, I will." Peony promised, her face entirely out of the conversation. Her mother snapped back, "Listen, peony! This isn't just about you! I should live for a few more eons, yet I'm dying now. The other families are dying off too, even though their offspring are barely a few decades old, way to young to take on the job of harvester. Find out what is wrong. Something is coming, peony. It might even be one of us that is going to mess up this stupid universe. Maybe even you. If it is you, KILL YOURSELF." Peony stepped back, shocked at her mother's cruel words. "Look, peony," Her mother coughed, her body slowly fading. "This isn't about you!...I've already set a curse on you...if it senses anything that will bring the ruin, it will kill you. Very, very painfully, to punish you for not doing it yourself." Peony snarled, "You don't care about me, do you?" Her mother laughed, the noise more of a wispy dry cough then a laugh. "Of course I don't, Peony. Soon you will know why." She whispered as she faded. Peony quickly decided after a few days, she would be the one deciding who died. At first it wasn't too big, she just killed insects and plants. Then humans. After the 10th human, she was taken to the Grand Jury, who tried to kill her for her crimes. Fate was the one who execute her, even though fate had been the one to raise her when her mother was gone. Millions of other cosmic beings came to the planet she was on to watch her. Some in ships, some in thrones on the ground. Just as Fate was about to kill her, Peony broke the laws of the universe. She literally sucked almost all the power out of God. And made the power her own, disinigrating everyone but the Grand jury and Fate. Of course she had some big ol' boss battle with Fate, but couldn't kill her completely. Fate escaped, and Peony is going around harvesting all the power she can get. Her goal is to kill God, and take his place. She believes that it is good, and she'll fix the universe and stop the 'Bad thing'. Surprisingly, she isn't the 'Bad thing', which is why the curse her mother put on her hasn't killed her. Nobody's gonna read this so imma just say it so I remember- the bad thing is a human on earth that will effect peony, and in turn, make Peony do the thing to ruin the universe.
credit to contest creator. and music creators wewo Fate's story now- Fate was created by god taking pieces of himself and creating 'cosmic beings'. There are other 'cosmic beings' but ones not created by god are called 'stars' or 'sub-cosmic beings'. But Fate is basically the macho of the Grand Jury, like the leader. She's pretty cold though. She's older then reality itself. So yeah. Cosmic beings only die when their power source dies. Weather it's god or a star, or a universe, they each have a power source. They can die that way, or they can die from their power being sucked out of them, as well as their 'life source' the power is converted into. Ok ok we'll do her actual story. She was created, but had no real use until the universe was created. She never was a child, unlike ''Death's" and doesn't grow older in any significant way. She doesn't really have a story. I know, that's stupid, but she doesn't. She's just a template, no experiances to truly give her character traits or anything. She just believes in justice because God told her that was her job to care. She has no emotion, which means no bias, which, in turn, means a great leader right? Nah, this girl has DESTROYED so many living things and just makes logical decisions. She doesn't care about how people feel, or their emotions. Being the most powerful of the bunch doesn't help either. fate is scary T^T But Peony was the first being to actually make her afraid for her life.
