This is a DTAE for a candy animals DTA. For this one, I drew the minty kitty! Name: Menthy (wordplay on the words menthol(the technical term for the main ingredient in mints) and minty(describing something that smells like mints).) Powers: based off of different types of mints -Peppermint: basic attacks -Polar Ice: ice and wind attacks -Candy Cane: grab attacks -Buttermint: special light attacks -Mint: special medium attacks -Peppermint bark: special heavy attacks -Breath mints: lower-class healing items -Mint leaf: medium-class healing items -Mild mints: higher-class healing items -Mints in chocolate: legendary-class healing items -SHARP MINTS: temporary spike trap Weapons: -A candy cane hockey stick and a red and green peppermint hockey puck. -Tin of peppermint bark to break over people's heads. -ALL SORTS OF MINTS. Red ones boost stats, green ones heal, and the buttermints are used as trip-traps. -Mint gum. Used as a sticky trap and boost stats, but polar ice is used as a weapon to blow the enemy backwards. -Christmas-themed knickknacks. Ranges from simple ornaments to a heccing Christmas tree. -Breath mints. Lower-level healing item. -Mint leaf. Medium-class healing item. Callback of some sort. -Mild mints: Higher-class healing item. They're mints, but milder, allowing for a broader appeal. -Mints in chocolate. It tastes good. 'Nuff said. -SHARP MINTS. What you do if you're bored and have a candy cane to spare. Also contains crushed mint pieces. -Syrup. Sticky trap, but it also slows the target down. Good with mint pancakes(pancakes with mints in them). It makes sense that I drew this. Its a great character that stands out. Even though I edited a bit, like the green ear not being an actual peppermint, I liked the concept, having a cat character being based on the different types of mints.
