~EDIT: CHECK DA BOTTOOOOOM DERES MORE STORY!!~ I hope its ok that I changed the scars and the ear on Stream's side.... Silverfeather/Stream - light grey tabby shecat with nicked ear and teal eyes (Silverfeather form) blue-grey tabby shecat with tan underbelly, teal eyes, and nicked ears (Stream form) Story time: As the sun blazed brightly on the cherry-colored and grey tabbies, the two shecats talked in hush tones atop the signature tree that stood in the middle of their territory. "Vine's attacks are becoming more and more frequent," the green-eyed grey tabby stated urgently. "I, too, am worried for the safety of the clan, although she seems more content with torturing the two of us, Rainstar," the cherry tabby replied sadly. "We need a spy, so that we know when Vine is going to strike next," Rainstar stated, "But it would have to be a warrior she hasn't seen before....it couldn't be one of us..." "Im concerned about sending one of the warriors she hasn't seen before out there," Cherryleaf replied, "The only ones she wouldn't recognize are too young and weak to be able to handle a task like that..." Rainstar nodded in agreement. A light silver tabby bounded towards them, then dipped her head at the two elder cats. "Hi Cherryleaf, Rainstar!" the silver shecat called out good-naturedly. Cherryleaf dipped her head. "'Ello, old apprentice," she chuckled. They proceeded to touch muzzles. Rainstar, as well, dipped her head. "Good afternoon, Silverfeather," Rainstar greeted simply. Deputy and leader glanced at each other. Cherryleaf grinned mischievously, and Rainstar, in turn, nodded. "We have a mission for you, Silverfeather." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I cant believe it! Its my first mission as a proud Windclan warrior! Ah man, I'm sooooo excited!" Silverfeather was ranting happily to herself as Cherryleaf and Rainstar led the way to......something. To be honest, Silverfeather had no idea where they were taking her, but she was too excited to care. Suddenly, the two cats at the front stopped, turned around, and sat, staring into Silverfeather's eyes expectantly. "Alright, Silverfeather," Cherryleaf began, "Before we send you out on your mission, we need to give you a new pelt." "A new pelt?" Silverleaf seemed taken aback, "How da hairballs do you expect to do THAT?" Cherryleaf motioned her head forward, indicating she was speaking of a land further ahead, then elaborated, "In Canyonclan territory, they have some special bushes with special berries that can dye your pelt different colors. Whats special about these berries is that they dont wash out until you put a special berry juice on the stains." Silverfeather's fur still stood up nervously, but the confidence in her former mentor's voice seemed to put her slightly at ease. As leader and deputy applied some blue berries to Silverfeather's formerly silver pelt, her head began to buzz with questions. However, the solemn look in her superiors' faces made her keep her questions to herself. "Alright, we're done," Cherryleaf called out at last. Silverfeather slid down the steep canyon edge, which Canyonclan was so famous for, and looked into the little stream that, at one point, was said to form into a serene river. She didn't see herself - she saw a blue tabby shecat that didn't look anything like her. She was taken aback. "These berries are magical!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The black tabby shecat snarled a warning. "Why do you want to join Fallensky?" she hissed. The blue tabby dipped her head, trembling to show that she didn't mean a speck of harm (that, and the fact that 15 dangerous rogues were surrounding her, ready to kill her). She flattened her ears and bowed to the ground. "I have heard many a tale of your amazing feats, Vine, and I wish to be surrounded by such strong cats...." she mewed innocently. Vine arched her back, still not convinced. "Why do you smell like Windclan?" she sneered. "I came from their territory," Silverfeather (although she looked more like Bluefeather) replied, her blue flanks still trembling, "I gave a patrol a run for their money after I was hunting in their territory one time. I used to live in the alleys of a twolegplace near Windclan territory, and was often spending my day annoying Windclanners and stealing their prey." She instinctively puffed out her chest in triumph, but quickly showed submission once more. "When I heard such a talented rogue pack lived nearby, I knew right away I wanted to join. While living on my own was always fun, I want desperately to be surrounded by strong comrades. So please...can you let me join? I promise I'll do everything you say without hesitation. Please, great Vine?" Vine sheathed her claws and smirked. "I kinda like this cat," she chuckled, "Everyone, at ease, we have a new member joining us..." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vine sat atop a fallen tree and yowled for a pack meeting. "We have a new member tonight. We shall train her in the ways of the rogue cats, to hate clanners and to love to kill! However, she was never given a name, as her mother abandoned her as a kit. So tonight, we shall name her. She shall now be known as Stream, because of her greyblue pelt." Some rogues mumbled their displeasure, others appeared to be trying to be nice, and others just sat their, bored. But Silverfeather - er, Stream - didn't care; it felt like her warrior ceremony all over again! But the thought still lingered in the back of her mind; how was she going to betray her pack? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rainstar gave a sigh as she trotted up to the highrock, Cherryleaf following, depressed. Rainstar yowled for a meeting, and all of the cats came. She then began: "Silverfeather has betrayed us," Rainstar stated, her voice crackling somewhat, but she was quick to correct such. Surprised gasps came from the crowd, but Rainstar continued, "When Thistlefang, Silverfeather and I were out hunting, she pushed Thistlefang aside and tried to take one of my lives. I yowled, and nearby, Cherryleaf, who was out hunting solo, heard me, and together Cherryleaf and Thistlefang helped me fight her off. She slithered off, growling that she would be back for revenge." Rainstars ears flattened. "Isnt that right, Thistlefang, Cherryleaf?" Thistlefang nodded promptly (and, for the record, had already been informed about the plan), while Cherryleaf nodded slowly, her eyes clouding with pain and sadness. Part of it was for show, to show how hurt she was her former apprentice when rotten, and part of it was because she hated having to accuse her friend of a crime she did not commit. But then Cherryleaf realized, how will the clan accept Silverfeather back into the clan after her spying mission is done? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~One year later~ A rogue leapt up, slashing her claws against the brown tabby, who was fighting fearlessly beside Rainstar and Cherryleaf. Two cats pounced on Cherryleaf, and two more took Rainstar, while three were finishing up attacking the blue-eyed, brown shecat. One streaked his claws down her white underbelly, while another shred her tail. All three cats were being worn by the massive amount of rogues, and all three yowled their pain to the sky. Vine signaled Stream and a white cat who were both hanging behind to attack, and with that, Vine rushed towards Rainstar. The white shecat lunged towards Cherryleaf, but Stream just stood their, her ears flatten, torn over who to attack. She closed her eyes, thinking back. Rainstar had picked her up after her mother had abandoned her and taken care of her, and Cherryleaf, back when she was Cherrypaw, always gave Silverkit a good laugh by being so prankable. When Cherrypaw was given her warrior name, Silverkit was happy for her, but the pranks continued. Silverkit was then made an apprentice, Silverpaw, and was given to the new mentor, Cherryleaf. Cherryleaf was terrified and upset about it, but Silverpaw was happy there would be more time for pranks. But soon, the two became best friends, especially after Cherryleaf managed to save Silverpaw from a falling tree. When Silverpaw was given her warrior name, Silverfeather, who was cheering the loudest? Cherryleaf. And both cats had always taken care of her. But, they had called her a traitor in front of all the other cats - and while it needed to be believed, she still couldn't help but feel hurt. And they were the reason she was stuck in this mess in the first place. But Vine had taken care of her this past year, and had at one point transferred one of her nine lives from the Dark Forest to her, to save her life. And Vine had taught her many valuable techniques. She couldn't just betray her.....could she? Her eyes shot open. She leapt at Rainstar, ripped her away from Vine and then..... ...and then slammed her thorn-like claws straight into Vine's chest. "Wha...what are you doing, Stream!?" Vine yowled, completely stunned. "My name is not Stream, it's Silverfeather." Silverfeather replied, glaring down at Vine. ~Story end~ ....Sorta a true story, but it was Icefang instead of Silverfeather....but same person XD Man, that was LOOONG o0o Took me WAY longer to write that than to do most of my CCs o3o HEY WAIT THERES MORE STORY :D Silverfeather sat, perched on the branch of a tree, staring emotionlessly into the sky. Her eyes were clouded with sadness, much in contrast to her happy-go-lucky persona a yearish ago. Cherryleaf and Rainstar were talking in a patch of grass a little ways off, out of earshot of the silver tabby. "I feel awful about this," Cherryleaf admitted, "Its our fault we sent her to spy on Vine, and because of our stupid plan, the whole clan thinks she's a monster!" Rainstar sighed. "A leader is responsible for the wellbeing of her clan," Rainstar stated, "And I will give Silverfeather joy again. Remember Acornkit? I think the rambunctious little kit is a lot like Silverfeather was as a kit. I think that will bring some of her old flare back." Cherryleaf flicked an ear worriedly. "I hope so, and I hope we aren't making a bigger mistake by assigning her an apprentice..." ~End for now~ I wanna make some sorta CC entry that has to do with how Silverfeather reacted to mentoring Acornpaw, b
