( https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/25199542/ ) HOW IT WORKS In this game, you are born a Mercat. You are entirely cat, except that you can breath underwater and when you grow older, you begin to get a tail shaped like a mermaids. When your tail begins to grow, Seaweed (the leader of Mercat Village) hosts a Coming-Of-Age Ceremony, in which you receive a gem. Oh yes, gems! Gems give a Mercat a special power. The one you receive at birth helps you grow faster and stronger. It's red. The one you get at your Coming-Of-Age Ceremony is yellow, and it helps your tail grow, meaning you can swim faster. If you helped Seaweed as a kitten, (it's suggested you do) then you get a blue gem, which bonds you to the tribe forever. Finally, if you become friends or mate with Seashell or Bay, then you get a green gem, symbolizing friendship. Your tribe eats fish and other small animals like crabs, and only fears sharks, who prey on you, and other Mercats. All in all, enjoy the game! ~Shell NOTE~ This is currently unfinished.
